The meeting then adjourned till 2 o'clock in the afternoon. AFTERNOON SESSION. The Convention was called to order at 2 p. M. The President: We have a communication sent to the Association from our friend, and the guest of last year, Mr. Cornelius Walford of London; and at his request the article which he has prepared will now be read by Mr. Holman, a member of our Association. Mr. A. J. Waters: Before that address is read, as the committee appointed this morning by the chair to apportion the President's Address is ready to report; and as that embraces several committees from whom we expect reports, I would suggest that perhaps that report had better be received now, that those who form the committees may prepare and bring in their reports. The President: I suppose that reports are always in order. They have been in our meetings heretofore. Mr. Waters: Then with the permission of the Association, I will read the report of the committee appointed by you this morning: Your committee to whom was referred the President's Address, beg leave to recommend that so much of the address as refers to the incorporation of this Association be referred to the following committee: David Beveridge, of the Niagara; A. C. Blodget, of the Franklin, and Geo. C. Clarke, of the Manufacturers'. The Committee on State Associations: J. M. Dresser, of the National; J....
